Inspect the main level to map the layout and learn sheetrock installation patterns, nail spacing, and venting basics for new home construction.

Inspect the second level for 36 inch stair clearance and handrails, ensure bedrooms have sleeping windows and private baths, and verify upstairs laundry with overflow pan and vented dryer.

Assess attic access, roof system, ductwork, insulation, and safety features such as condensate drain pans and gas line protection. Ensure proper support, sealed joints, and heat safety around recessed lighting.

Inspect the basement to appraise the finished area, unfinished section, and stair landing, noting open web trusses and fire hazard, and assess vapor barriers and bearing-wall connections.
